Employee Assistance Program and WorkLife Services Benefits

CSEBO offers its Member districts Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and WorkLife Services Benefits. These programs are designed to provide confidential  support for those struggling with things such as stress at work, those who need financial or legal advice, or are coping with grief at the loss of a loved one. These programs are available 24-7.

CSEBO members who need assistance with substance abuse or mental illness, workplace conflicts, child or elder care can call CSEBO's direct line to care at 888-444-8624. Use the access code "CSEBO" and receive immediate assistance at no cost for referrals or seeing a clinician within the Optum network. Employees and dependents are eligible to receive 5 face-to-face visits per problem, per year, at no cost. If you'd like to speak with an expert for financial or legal assistance, there's no cost for the initial consultation. Subsequent legal assistance will be available at a 25% discount.

Healthy Habits Incentives Program

A Healthy Habits Incentives Program is being piloted in two CSEBO districts. The purpose of the Incentives Program is to increase preventative care visits and to encourage healthy habits as part of a strategy to decrease avoidable health care costs. The continued use of the preventative and diagnostic benefits of health insurance plans leads to the detection and treatment of medical conditions early on when treatment is most effective. This will mean lower medical loss ratios and lower premiums at the annual plan renewal, with the health care savings being passed down to all CSEBO Member school district employees.

Each school district in the CSEBO organization has their own specific incentives programs. Please contact your district's Human Resources to find out more about your district's incentive program.
