CSEBO is an organization that makes affordable health care coverage its primary goal. CSEBO is governed by its Members, including both labor and management representatives, to provide pooled Medical, Dental, Vision and Life benefits. CSEBO acts as a resource to Member Districts to help reduce, control, and/or eliminate risks, thereby saving money to use for educational purposes.
Members of CSEBO have access to a dedicated customer service team, at the carrier and JPA-level, to facilitate Members with the administation of plans, including sophisticated wellness programs, and coordination of Member events, as requested.
CSEBO currently offers 11 plans in our Medical Program for active employees and early retirees. 7 plans are administered through Anthem Blue Cross and 4 plans offered through Kaiser Permanente.
In addition, CSEBO offers its Members ancillary coverages: 6 self-insured Delta Dental PPO plans, 2 self-insured vision plans administered through VSP, and Basic and Voluntary coverages through The Hartford for life insurance.
CSEBO also offers wellness programs and incentives to encourage healthy habits and continued use of preventative and diagnostic benefits of the health insurance plans, as well as to detect and treat any medical condition early on when treatment is the most effective. In addition, a focus on prevention helps keep health care costs more affordable for everyone.
